Our Story, A Family Story
Two generations, a family and an extraordinary ambition have transformed a small wine cellar in Tuscany into a leading brand on the Italian and global wine scene. Collections of superior quality composed of unconventional and unique wines offer the perfect compromise between the Italian historical tradition and the desire for innovation.
Our collection is made with grapes from the prized vineyards in Tuscany, the Chianti region, and the Prosecco regions of Veneto. These regions are a genuine expression of a prime winegrowing country and have the perfect microclimate for the ideal ripening of the grapes.
Lorenzo and Matteo Saraceni, well-known and admired hoteliers and restaurateurs, founded Fratelli Saraceni. With their expertise and passion they were driven to produce wines that would defy the expectations of their tasteful clientele. Thanks to an immediate success, the Saraceni family embarked on further expansion. Today, a wide array of Saraceni products can be enjoyed around the world.

Fratelli Saraceni’s unmistakable style, expertise and ambition to continually renew itself created an outstanding enterprise from a small paradise in the heart of Tuscany to a worldwide, growing company with the same credibility and passion that it began with.
“Innovation as Strategy, Excellence as Mission”
The first releases from Fratelli Saraceni are a collection of Tuscan wines that best represent the typical characteristics of the grapes and the terroir of their region. Lorenzo and Matteo were affectionately inspired to name the collection after their father, Libero. The Libero Collection is composed of quality wines with fresh and fruity tones that are each identified by their unique and individual details.
Fratelli Saraceni later launched the Bollicine Collection composed of Prosecco and Perlè and the unconventional Italian Sparklers Collection composed of Blumond and Splendia. These new unique and innovative collections quickly became an international success. Seductive and naturally light in alcohol, they are very recognizable in taste and in product concept.
Each Fratelli Saraceni’s wine is adorned and identified with an elegant and impressive packaging, accomplished through the collaboration with designer Simonetta Doni, the founder of the prestigious “Studio Doni&Associati”.

Since the beginning, the Saraceni family wanted to include several unique activities and products to their company that shared their core values and passions: “high quality, strong ties with the territory and professional reliability”. This lead to the creation of what is now an inspiring group of food, beverage and hospitality services.
The Saraceni Group is therefore composed by, alongside the production of wines, renowned and exclusive restaurants including, Ristorante I Tre Pini and the famous, Villa Machiavelli in Chianti Classico, one of the most historical winery/restaurants in Italy.
Soon new brands and family estates will join the group to perpetuate and share our family values.
